Mihir currently leads a team of privacy engineers to build products that protect the privacy of the data subjects of organizations such as the U.S. Army, U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services (HHS), U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs, U.K. National Health Service (NHS) and the U.N. World Food Program.

In previous roles, Mihir built software that helped multiple nations catch human traffickers and drug smugglers.

Mihir is an Adjunct Faculty member at New York University, teaching Introduction to Computer Programming, Python.

Designed and instructed a course on privacy engineering with Udacity.

Integrated NASA & NOAA satellite data to help the California Department of Public Heath create a predictive model to track harmful algae along the California Coast.

Mihir studied Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. While there, he participated in research in computational biology and high-performance computing, and was the first CTO of the student government.
